“CERTIFIED” DAMAGED AND STOLEN CHEVY?
Wyatt v. Courtesy Chevrolet et al – San Diego
Our client alleges she bought a Certified-Pre-Owned 2019 Chevrolet Silverado from Courtesy Chevrolet in March 2020. At the time of sale, the Courtesy Chevrolet staff allegedly falsely represented to our client that the Chevy was thoroughly inspected and gave our client a Used Vehicle Disclosure with no markings for “this vehicle has in the past been stolen or reported stolen.” However, when the Chevy started making a loud clunking noise, our client took the Chevy to another dealership which found the Chevy had a bent driveshaft. Also, the Carfax report for the Chevy stated the Chevy had been stolen in late 2019 – but Courtesy Chevrolet had allegedly given our client a misleading and false Used Vehicle Disclosure that said nothing about theft. If you’ve bought a Certified Pre-Owned vehicle with concealed damage or concealed history of theft, prior accident or damage, or prior rental, please contact david@rbblawgroup.com.
