Bulmer v. Carfast San Diego, Inc. – SETTLEMENT UPDATE
In the case of Bulmer v. Carfast San Diego, Inc., Mr. Bulmer alleged Carfast San Diego defrauded him into purchasing a Chevrolet Silverado with undisclosed mechanical issues. He claims Carfast San Diego represented the truck was covered by a third-party “warranty.” Mr. Bulmer claimed to have been pulled over by law enforcement on his way home from Carfast San Diego and issued a warning due to excessive smoke. Yet, the administrator of the “warranty” refused to repair the defect, claiming it had no record of Mr. Bulmer’s truck.
Mr. Bulmer also alleged Carfast San Diego overcharged him by $410 for vehicle license fees in connection with the transaction–an overcharge which, unbeknownst to Mr. Bulmer at the time, appeared on the face of the contract.
Auto Fraud Legal Center’s Auto Fraud Legal Center successfully represented Mr. Bulmer in obtaining a settlement on his behalf with his finance company, Westlake Services, LLC.
