Baltazar v. Paramount Auto Center
Our client purchased a 2008 Chrysler 300 from Paramount Auto Sales in Los Angeles. After purchasing the vehicle, when he attempted to have it smogged, our client learned the emissions components had been tampered with. As a result, the vehicle could not pass smog. In a lawsuit against Paramount Auto, our clientalleges the dealership sold him the vehicle with an illegal smog certificate, knowing that the vehicle could not pass a legitimate smog inspection.
