Ackerson v. Harris Motors

Our client acquired a used 2003 Honda Civic from Harris Motors, a Buy-Here-Pay-Here dealership in Palmdale, California. Within a week of getting the vehicle, Ms. Ackerson started to notice engine problems, and the check engine light turned on. Our client brought the vehicle to Harris Motors at least three times for repairs under warranty, but Harris Motors didn’t repair the engine. The Auto Fraud Legal Center filed a lawsuit in Los Angeles Country Superior Court alleging Harris Motors sold our client a lemon, and then refused to fix the vehicle. Harris Motors agreed to repurchase the vehicle for a full refund, and pay our client’s attorneys’ fees and costs.
